Dare To Be Different Returns To The Show08 Jan 2018
Dare To Be Different is a charity which aims to inspire, connect and showcase women in the motorsports industry. It holds events for girls, age 8-12yrs, to open their eyes into the career possibilities that are out there for them in the world of motorsport.
Launched at our show in 2016, the charity will be returning to the NEC for the third year, on Stand 2942. It was founded by Chief Executive of the MSA, Rob Jones, and Susie Wolff, who is due to attend the show later this week.
Throughout the weekend, you’ll have the opportunity to meet a range of the charity’s ambassadors. These include TV presenter and journalist, Louise Goodman, motorbike rider Maria Costello and wind tunnel technician at Mercedes AMG Petronas F1 Team, Kathryn Richards among many others.
Ambassadors from Dare To Be Different will also be taking to the Talk Shop stage in Careers and Education area, to discuss the topic of women in motorsport from a range of disciplines.
