Ogier Stays At M-Sport

07 Dec 2017

After months of negotiations, it has been confirmed that Ogier will contest the WRC title with M-Sport for the second year. He will compete in the Ford Fiesta World Rally Car with his co-driver Julien Ingrassia.

Ogier, said: “It’s great to finally announce our plans for 2018. What we have achieved together has been truly amazing, and we want to see that continue – to continue this fantastic journey and to defend all that we have achieved together.

“This season has been very exciting with some of the closest-fought competition for years. As a driver, I definitely want to be a part of that. I still get a lot of emotion from this sport, and this team has so much passion. That made my decision clear, and we will work hard to chase more success together next year.”

Wales Rally GB-winner, Elfyn Evans, will also continue with the Championship-winning team as they look to defend their 2017 title. More information about M-Sport’s 2018 line-up can be found here - http://www.m-sport.co.uk/m-sport-news/fiesta-rs-wrc/ogier-and-evans-to-lead-m-sport-in-2018
