GLOBAL LEADERS IN AUTOMOTIVE BRAKING ALCON SET TO DISPLAY AT AUTOSPORT ENGINEERING10-Jan-2017
Alcon is happy to announce that it will once again be displaying its extensive range at Autosport Engineering at the NEC Birmingham on Thursday 12th and Friday 13th of January. It marks a fantastic opportunity for those interested in the firm's brake and clutch products to get up close and personal with the hardware in question, while also having the chance to ask Alcon's dedicated team any questions they might have. Autosport Engineering will also see Alcon unveil some of its most significant releases for the coming year, so it's certainly worth paying its stand a visit.
This year's star products are the all new RC6 and RC4 range of calipers, both of which are projected to be popular in both the OEM and aftermarket. As you might've gleaned from its name, the RC6 is a six-piston design, the RC4 a four-piston, and both have ability to accommodate impressively large discs. The RC4 and RC6 will be unveiled at 10.30am on Thursday 12th January, booth #E1250.
Of course while it's brake and clutch components that Alcon specialises in, the show is also the place to see some of the incredible machines Alcon products are fitted to, including a breathtaking 1985 Group B Audi S1 E2 Quattro. This particular car is Walter Rohrl’s test car from 1985 and was used in the 1988 Race of Champions in Montlhery near Paris. Along with the S1 E2 Quattro, Alcon will also have a 1000bhp Nissan GT-R LM1 RS prepared by Litchfield on display. Other Alcon equipped cars worth seeking out at Autosport International include a Vuhl 05RR, an Elemental RP1, a Ginetta G57, Pat Doran’s wild RS200, to name but a few.
Alcon's stand will be at booth E1250 on Thursday 12th - Friday 13th and will have some of the finest braking products commercially available. We'll see you there!
