TRAIN LIKE THE PROS AS AUTOSPORT INTERNATIONAL LAUNCHES FITNESS AND PREPARATION02-Dec-2015
Autosport International is set to add to its wide range of exhibitors in 2016 with the launch of a new Fitness & Preparation area.
To perform at their peak in any sport, competitors need to pay close attention to fitness and nutrition. With drivers having to withstand extreme forces and temperatures, motorsport is no exception.
Headlining the area is P1 Nutrition, which provides a range of products specifically designed for the motorsport industry.
It’s first product to launch in 2015 was ‘Race Fuel’ – a scientifically formulated protein based powder with added Branched Chain Amino Acids (BCAAs) and electrolytes to specifically target the needs of racing drivers.
In addition to showcasing Race Fuel and its associated bottles and shakers at the show, the company will also be launching its second dedicated motorsport product, Pre Race-Fuel.
Aron Smith, BTCC racing driver for Team BMR RCIB Insurance and P1 Nutrition ambassador, said: “Having a fitness & preparation section in the 2016 Autosport International exhibition indicates the direction in which motorsport is going. P1 Nutrition focuses solely on nutrition for racing drivers, all our products are scientifically formulated to help a driver from an amateur level right up to professional. As the leading motorsport nutrition company we are thrilled to partner with Autosport International for the 2016 show.”
The 2014 European Le Mans Champion & 2015 Dubai 24 Hours Champion Ollie Webb said: "Using P1 Nutrition while at the track under intense heat, pressure and long distance races is a great asset. We need all the energy we can get in these situations both mentally and physically and I'm happy to say that P1 Nutrition helps me achieves my goals as a performance athlete."
Also confirming its presence at the show is Euro Therapy UK, who specialize in home therapy systems, which contribute to improved health and wellbeing by relieving tension and pain in joints and strained muscles.
