Just In:
HORNER AND DAVIDSON ADDED TO LIST OF STARS
Even with just over a week to go until Autosport International 2012 opens its doors, the line-up for the show continues to grow. Christian Horner, Team Principal for double Formula One Champions Red Bull Racing, and former F1 racer turned Peugeot factory sports car driver Anthony Davidson are the latest high-profile names to confirm their appearance at the show.
Horner, who guided Red Bull Racing to a successful defence of both the F1 Drivers’ and Constructors’ Championships in 2011, will be attending on Saturday, where he will be discussing the season ahead on the Autosport stage.
On Sunday it will be Davidson’s turn to make an appearance. Davidson raced in F1 for the Super Aguri team in 2007 and 2008 and will be celebrating a highly successful 2011, which included victory in the 6 Hours of Zhuhai, as well as looking forward to a year in which he joins the Sky commentary team for Formula One practice sessions.
Horner and Davidson join a long list of celebrities attending the show including BBC F1 presenter Jake Humphrey and his colleague, former F1 racer David Coulthard, as well as eight-time 24 Hours of Le Mans winner Tom Kristensen and his Audi team-mate, double victor Allan McNish.
