NEWLY-CONFIRMED BBC F1 LINE-UP VISIT AUTOSPORT INTERNATIONAL
To coincide with the start of Autosport International 2012, the BBC confirmed its F1 coverage line-up on Thursday 12 January, with many of the broadcaster’s stars set to appear at the show over the coming four days.
Ben Edwards will lead the TV commentary team in 2012, taking up the microphone alongside co-commentator David Coulthard, while James Allen becomes lead commentator for Radio 5 live.
Jake Humphrey will once again lead the BBC’s Formula One coverage on
television, with Eddie Jordan reprising his role as primary analyst and
David Coulthard continuing to combine punditry duties with commentary
commitments.
Coulthard will be headlining Autosport International over the weekend with Humphrey joining him on Saturday and Edwards on Sunday. All three personalities will be taking part in interviews on the Autosport Stage, in addition to meeting fans and signing autographs.
Allen, meanwhile, will make his first official appearance since signing with the BBC for 2012 at the opening trade day on Thursday.
