Stars that joined us in 2012 were:
Paul di Resta Paul di Resta has confirmed he will appear at Autosport International next January. The DTM champion has been the star rookie since moving to Formula 1 with Force India this season and took his best finish with sixth place in Singapore. Di Resta will be joining us during the weekend days of the show (14 & 15 January), giving live interviews on the Autosport Stage and the F1 Racing Grid and will be driving in the Live Action Arena. | ![]() |
David Coulthard David Coulthard, winner of 13 Grands Prix and one of the most recognisable stars of the modern Formula One era will be making an exclusive appearance at the 2012 show. Coulthard will be appearing at Autosport International alongside many other motorsport heroes, meeting fans, signing autographs and taking part in exclusive interviews on the Autosport Stage and F1 Racing Grid. | ![]() |
Jake Humphrey F1 anchorman Jake Humphrey will be stepping away from the camera to meet motorsport fans face-to-face at Autosport International 2012. Humphrey is looking forward to his second appearance at the show, where he will offer his predictions for the F1 season live on the Autosport Stage and interviews at the F1 Racing Grid. | ![]() |
Allan McNish Sportscar superstar Allan McNish is the third Scotsman to confirm his attendance at Autosport International. Former F1 driver McNish remains one of the most highly rated sportscar racers of the modern era, enjoying worldwide success in his nine-year career as an Audi driver, interspersed with his Formula One appearances from 2001-2003. | ![]() |
Jason Plato Jason Plato is a British racing car driver currently competing in the BTCC for Silverline Chevrolet. He is a two time BTCC champion having previously won the series in 2001 when driving for Vauxhall and 2010 for Silverline Chevrolet. He has finished in the top 3 in the championship 8 times and holds the record for the most overall race wins in the BTCC. He is also a presenter on motoring television series Fifth Gear. | ![]() |
Shane Lynch Former Boyzone singer Shane Lynch has confirmed he will be attending the Autosport International with Maxxis Tyres. Shane has become a successful drift car racer since taking up professional motorsport in 2007 and the Irish singing sensation will be entertaining fans by demonstrating his Team JapspeedNissan Silvia S15 in the Live Action Arena. | ![]() |
Darren Turner Darren Turner is one of the UK's most successful and experienced racing drivers. He has competed and excelled in almost every four-wheel racing category, most notably taking two GT1 class victories at the Le Mans 24 Hours. | ![]() |
Tom Kristensen The most successful sports car driver in history, Tom Kristensen is the only person to clinch eight victories in the world’s most famous endurance race, the 24 Hours of Le Mans. In a career spanning 27 years, Kristensen has proved an unstoppable force: taking victories in every category in which he has competed, from karting to single-seaters, touring cars and sports cars, in addition to testing for both Tyrrell and Michelin in Formula One. | ![]() |
Rob Huff Chevrolet’s FIA World Touring Car Championship (WTCC) racer Rob Huff will be attending the show. Huff, who this year tied the record for most wins in a WTCC season with eight victories, will be appearing at the show on both public days. | ![]() |
Steve Rider TV presenter Steve Rider, who has recently signed up to be a part of Sky’s coverage of Formula One next year will be attending the show. A broadcasting veteran with over 30 years’ experience, Rider is a familiar face to motorsport fans, having fronted F1 coverage on both the BBC and ITV. | ![]() |
Felipe Nasr British Formula 3 champion Felipe Nasr will be attending the show this year. The 19 year old Brazillian driver recently placed second in the Macao GP after having wrapped up his madien title. | ![]() |
Christian Horner Red Bull team principal Christian Horner will be attending the show this year shortly after winning the Formula 1 constructors championship for the second year running. | ![]() |
Terry Fullerton The man who Senna called his greatest ever rival will be appearing at the show this year. Fullerton won the Karting World Championship in 1973 and retired from racing in 1984.

Andy Priaulx Triple FIA World Touring Car Champion Andy Priaulx also visited Autosport International in 2011. BMW driver Priaulx claimed his 18th WTCC victory at Oschersleben, Germany, more than any other driver has won to date, six of which he secured this season. | ![]() |

Sir Stirling Moss ‘Mr motor racing’ Sir Stirling Moss opened the 2010 show on Saturday 16th January. With over 529 races and 212 race wins under his belt Sir Stirling Moss is a true ledged of the motoring world. Along with opening the show he was also signing books at the LAT stand. Stig Blomqvist Stig Blomqvist the original ‘stig’ came to Autosport International in 2010 to entertain fans in the Live Action Arena. Stig drove the legendary 550bhp Group B Audi Sport Quattro. The flame-spitting machine is one of the fastest rally cars ever built, and is one of only 20 works cars developed. Stig scored five wins in an Audi A2 Quattro in his championship winning year. | ![]() |
David Brabham Le Mans 24 Hour winner and American Le Mans series Champion David Brabham is a regular at the show. Once again Autosport International hosted the David Brabham’s Celebrity Karting race where a host of racing drivers including David tested their skills on the karting track. Derek Bell Racing legend Derek Bell attended Autosport International 2010. Derek has had an extensive career in motorsport which has seen him take part in Formula one, 24 hour Le Mans which he has been 5 time winner and he’s a triple Daytona 24 hour race winner.
