RML is a multiple Le Mans 24 Hours winner. It has been delivering outstanding results within Prototype Sports Car racing for nearly three decades; achieving back-to-back class wins at one of the most globally recognised events on the motorsport calendar, the Le Mans 24 Hours. In 2007, RML entered an MG-Lola AER EX264 into the Le Mans Series LMP2 Championship and won the title outright. This triumph was repeated in 2010 when RML switched to the Lola HPD LMP2 Coupe. RML’s array of victories for OEMs such as RML has been integral to OEM Prototype Sports Car programmes, which include major brands such as Aston Martin, Nissan and MG. Reinforcing their Motorsport credentials while enhancing the perception of road car product ranges. The revolutionary Nissan ZEOD RC (Zero Emissions On Demand Race Car) is a true innovation showcase.Developed and run by RML at the 2014 Le Mans 24 Hours on behalf of Nissan, the ‘Garage 56’ project broke new records, becoming the first car ever to lap the La Sarthe circuit as a full EV (electrical vehicle). Reaching over 300kph along the Mulsanne Straight on EV power alone, the ZEOD’s revolutionary Power train comprises a 400bhp 40kg three cylinder 1.5 liter petrol engine – designed and built in-house at RML – with a pair of 110kW electric motors, fed by a 12.5kWh battery pack, providing the crucial electric components that enabled Nissan to rewrite the history books.
