The Paintbox Gallery has been established in the city of Worcester since 1994. I am the sole proprietor and I oversee all aspects of the business, and I am ably assisted by my partner, May Temby and my shop manageress, Jane Wells. We are all dedicated to providing the best service for all our customers, who come from far and wide to visit our shop in Worcester. Initially, the business started as a bespoke framing service, as well as selling specialised motorsport art. We continue to provide a bespoke framing service and have the patronage of many local customers and businesses, like Worcester Rugby Club and Worcestershire County Cricket Club, for whom we have framed many items, such as, shirts, caps, bats, certificates, medals and many more unusual items. I myself have been a photographer for over 40 years and have been lucky enough to be present at many historical motorsport events, where I have taken many, many photographs. As a result of this, I have a large collection of vintage and up to the present day motoring photographs and this passion for photography has led on to a new evolving side of the business, namely, the dealing in vintage cameras and photographic equipment. Over the years, we have taken part in numerous motor racing events, such as Goodwood Revival and Festival, Silverstone and more local events like Shelsley Walsh and Prescott Hill Climb and as a result have a large stock of all types of motorsport art from many different sources. We have represented one of the leading motorsport artists, Tony Smith for many years and have been fortunate enough to have sold many of his original artworks and been the publisher for his limited edition prints. In 1994, when the Paintbox first opened, I was fortunate enough to meet and start selling the art work of the extremely versatile local artist, Roger Morris and we have a large selection of his work. We are always happy to encourage new artists and showcase their work. We also have an extensive range of our own published greeting cards that are unique to us.
