For over 30 years, Autosport International has been the world’s meeting place for industry professionals. In 2021, we launched ASI Connect. This virtual networking platform will  complement  the physical show and will emphasise the ‘International’ aspect of the ASI family of events.  The platform will bring together more than 15,000 industry professionals from around the world across a series of events to network, participate in forums and debates.   For virtual exhibitors, the ASI Connect networking opportunities and sales lead generation continue year-round, offering a professional reach and ROI that will set a new standard for motorsport industry online events.

The most recent edition of the show introduced the inaugural Autosport Business Forum. This will grow to be the leading thinktank for motorsport professionals and a high-profile platform to discuss industry trends and shape the next generation of the sport.  

In the first edition, a panel of industry thought leaders discussed how 70 years of Formula 1’s technological advances have pushed the industry to be what it is today, how present day racing technology plays a part in our everyday lives and how innovative minds shape the future of motorsport.

Live Action Arena

Live Action Arena

International Live Action Arena turns the NEC into a high-octane indoor race track with a fast-paced all-action show. Every year it provides one of the highlights of the show, seating 5000 racing fans in petrolhead heaven. It’s an intense 45 minutes of thrilling entertainment that offers an unrivalled variety of racing action, driving demonstrations, record-breaking stunts and celebrity appearances.    

Recent shows have featured Sky Sports F1 lead commentator David Croft and vlogger Miss Emma Walsh hosting stunt driving, F1 stock car demonstrations, freestyle motocross riders and appearances from some of the world’s most famous race and rally drivers.

All Saturday and Sunday tickets include seats inside the Live Action Arena.    On Thursday and Friday there is one session per day and trade visitors will have the opportunity to purchase an additional ticket to view the live action.

The desire for personalisation and customisation means that Europe’s tuning industry deserves an international show. The dedicated Performance & Tuning Car Show hall attracts some of the biggest names in the industry and allows drivers to bring their next project car vision to life.   

Five hundred tuned cars roared into the NEC in 2020, meaning Birmingham reverberated to the thunder of over 200,000 horsepower. Since its inception in 2008, the show has featured an extensive range of exhibitors from performance experts such as suspension and brake manufacturers to the wildest styling customisers. It truly is the show that lets your imagination run wild.

Whether you are a fan of rallying, Formula 1, touring car or endurance racing, the Autosport International show is the place to meet your favourite drivers. Whether you want a selfie, an autograph or to ask a question to a legend there’s no other event that brings together key figures from all reaches of the sport.  
BTCC Feature 

BTCC Feature 

Britain’s biggest motorsport championship, the Kwik Fit British Touring Car Championship, is always one of the most popular displays at Autosport International.  

The BTCC feature is the perfect place for fans to get up close to the show’s star drivers and to catch a first glimpse of the cars set to compete in the exciting upcoming season. In past years, brands like Vauxhall, BMW, Toyota and Honda have unveiled their cars at the show.  

Fans have been able to get up close and personal with champions such as Colin Turkington, Jason Plato, Andrew Jordan, Ash Sutton and Matt Neal at recent editions of Autosport International

Motorsport Games 

Motorsport Games 

Motorsport Games is Autosport International’s sister company and is at the forefront of interactive virtual racing. It is the destination for the promoters of NASCAR and the 24 Hours of Le Mans to host their virtual esports events.    

At the last show, Motorsport Games showcased professional esports events on the live stage, while simultaneously live streaming online. Teams of three battled it out in a two-hour endurance race to win a golden ticket to the Le Mans Esports Series Super Final in
the Pro Teams category.  

The Motorsport Games arena is now one of the most exciting areas of the show, immersing fans in esports events from endurance races to rallying and allowing show visitors to compete against the stars of the sport.  

Autosport Stage

At the heart of Autosport International is the star-studded Autosport Stage.  Over four days brands launch products and cars; with key industry and famous names from the motorsport world being interviewed on the stage.

Highlights of the 2020 show included F1 rivals Charles Leclerc and Lando Norris appearing alongside heroes from previous eras such as Ari Vatanen, Johnny Herbert and David Coulthard.   

The Autosport Stage gives visitors the unique opportunity to come face-to-face with the teams and the drivers as they reveal their plans for the upcoming season.

F1 Feature

A Formula 1 gridwalk is a money-can’t-buy experience at Grands Prix around the world, but at Autosport International, fans can get up close and personal with some of the world’s fastest and most technologically advanced cars. In 2020, a  number of the teams on the Formula 1 grid supplied a car for fans to explore at the show’s F1 display, which is organised in conjunction with GP Racing magazine. 

Revving Red Carpet

Revving Red Carpet

The 2020 show featured our first ever ‘Revving Red Carpet’. Petrolheads from across the UK entered their pride and joy to be judged by a celebrity and specialist panel.   

Pembrokeshire-based performance and tuning enthusiast Matthew Merrick won the Revving Red Carpet with his Mini JCW.   

A public vote across the Performance & Tuning Car Show social media channels decided the top five modified vehicles that featured on the red carpet. There are plans to expand this to truly make it a shootout to find Europe’s top tuned car.
